June 20th

There's not much to tell about the last day, other than it was a sad and long day for me, as I said my farewells to many in here. All of my teammates are so excited to fly back home. Pedro and Billy are looking forward to see their wives and children again, and Paul James just wnats to go back home, after so much cultural shock in Germany. I, for whatt is worth, am broken. I literally feel my heart stayed in Germany, and I'm looking forward to coming back. Many of the people here were already telling me "see you next year"
I can see now that this trip was a way for me to spy out this land, which means there will be a time in which I'll come back to take possesion.

Let's keep our brothers and sisters from Germany in our prayers. God has used the team to awaken a hunger like never before in the believers of Loerrach, especially in the youth. Little by little, they're beginning to realize they are the world-changers of their generation here in Germany and Europe.

For me, I am now fully convinced of who I am in Christ. God really showed me the potential that there is in me when i fully surrender to Him .And not only me, but everyone who wants to be a vessel of the Master, for He is not a respecter of persons.

Once again, I want to thank all who supported me financially and spiritually. Your prayers were heard, and what happenned here in Germany during the last 10 days could not have happenned without the prayers of God's people.

I know that He will place a burden in all of our hearts to minister to a certain age group or nation, just as He has placed and increased a burden in me for the German people to the point of tears.

Finally, I want to give special thanks to Emerson, who made this blog possible. Brother, you've been such a blessing to my life. Keep up your passion for the Lord, and you will see that He will do far exceedingly above of all you could aks or think (Eph. 3:20)

Make sure you check my facebook page for the trip pictures
Gott segne euch!!! and auf widersehen!!!!

June 19th

Hey guys from Germany!!!
I just had the best day of the whole trip. The message that brother Billy brought to our final youth meeting was the icing on the cake of our ministry. He challenged this youth group to let God use them to bring revival to this nation. He also told them to separate themselves from anything that is holding them back. God really changed this youth's heart, and I can notice a change in their attitude. Carl, the local youth pastor, encouraged them to keep seeking the Holy Spirit even after we leave.
I got plenty of emails, and i made a lot of German friends.
We finished this day by watching the soccer game. Our Germany beat Portugal 3-2, and we all went celebrating, yelling "Deutschland, Deutschland". I got a video of it.
I sid my last goodbyes, and i must confess my heart is broken. I wanna stay, and i'll be praying for God to send me here next year.
Guys, i want you to keep me in your prayers, because i'm down and homesick. I don't wanna leave. I know i will get homesick, when I watch the semifinal game on Wednesday.

On a positive side, I'm glad to have accomplished what God called me to do here for the next 10 days. I'm thankful because this happenned, and i got very good memories.

Tomororw, i'll be typing the last day. I'll be at church at 11 pm God willing!!!!

God bless you guys, and thanks for all your prayers and support. You guys were a part of this, as much as we were

Vielen Dank!!!!

June 18th

A very interesting day. I had the opportunity to go to a pastors' breakfast, in which Pastor Boykin spoke to the pastors of the area. They had a lot of questions about the way we do things at Church of all Nations. I realize, your gift does really bring you before great men. Guys, we are so blessed to have someone like Mark Boykin as our senior pastor. Seeing how the leadership of this area sought his wisdom in various matters encouraged me to respect and honor more the man of God we have as the angel of our church.

We spent the afternoon at Basel, Switzerland. We shopped and sightsaw the city. I had the opportunity to navigate the waters of the Rhine River. It was surreal. Also, i saw the Muenster, where Martin Luther taught. I took nice pictures of every place we went. I will post them when I get back home.

In the afternoon, we had the opportunity to talk to Pastor Boykin about upcoming plans for Church of all Nations and CMI. All I can tell is that God is opening doors to expand our ministry. Everyday we're becoming more of international ministry. We will literally be touching the nations of the world in a very short time.

For me, i got the first taste of saying farewell. Pastor boykin and miss Beth are flying back tomorrow to the U.S. It was very sentimental to see them saying goodbye to Rainer and Julie our host, who have been such a blessing for all of us.

Hope you guys have a blessed time at the Edge tomorrow. I'll be seeing you guys very soon

Gott segne euch!!!

June 17th

Hallo Edgers!!!

There's not much to say about today's activity. Probably, it was the most boring day in the whole trip. Pastor Boykin had been away for past 24 hrs, as he and his wife were invited to a fancy manor owned by one of our church members.

Today was our shopping day, and i got some souvenirs. I'm almost done with souvenirs shopping, which is a great thing, because i want to relax in the my last day. I bought lots of chocolates, and a German Bible. My goal is to come back next year, God willing, and preach in German.

After a slow afternoon in the place we're staying at, we went to church at night for dinner and small groups. Rainer had Pastor Boykin (refreshed from his stay at the manor) share on hearing God's voice.

I realize that i only have 72 hours left in Germany. I feel physically tired and spent. However, i want you guys to keep me on your prayers, because I don't want this to finish. You see, I've been ministering in one way or another continually for 7 days, and it feels so great. When i go back, i start classes almost immediately after, and that's a big change. It's going to feel pretty dry. Plus, this is Germany, and you guys know, how much i want to minister in this country. But like i always say, "God has His times and His seasons".

Tomorrow might be another "slow day", but thursday promises to be great, as it's our lasts ervice with the youth

Gott segne euch!!!

June 16th

Hallo!!!!
Last night was awesome. God broke through in our midst as our youth cried out to the Lord for more of His Spirit. The Lord gave me a word for this group. It was about running to God when we feel thirsty and needy in our spirit, instead of being discouraged and running away. I talked about Martin Luther and his personal struggles before becoming the reformer we all read about. As we held hands in prayer, God showed me how much potential there was in this room. God is going to break through in Germany. I have no doubt of that. I was so encouraged when after the service brother Pedro Ortiz told me that the Lord gave him the same word i spoke about in my sermon.
We're here on a mission, and this mission will extend beyond Friday, because our commitment is to keep this youth and church in prayer.

After the service, we all went to watch the soccer game. It was my first time watching a Germany game with a bunch of Germans. another dream come true. And by the way, we won 1-0. everybody went bezerk.

But the biggest victory was given by God on that youth service. We have one more meeting with the youth. Let's believe God that He would save the best wine for the best

Gott segne euch!!!!

June 15th

Hey guys!!!

I hope you had an amazing Sunday morning service. I got the opportunity to see some of you worshiping the Lord, as we caught some of the worship of the 11 o'clock service through the webcast.
Our Sunday morning was great. We had a great time of worship in Sunday morning service. Worshiping in German is so cool by the way!!! i'm taking some cds with me so you guys can hear how they do it in this land.
Pastor encouraged the people from the pulpit to sing in the midst of their tribulations. This is something that does not happen often here. Germans are reserved, and they get discouraged very easily when facing trials. Many people fall away because of this. But i've been able to observe that God is using us here to break that mentality.
The food is great. I have to admit that i'm going to pick up a few pounds, because the Germans here are very hospitable. they've been feeding us a lot, and their food is great. I go for seconds, and thirds sometimes.

The rest of the day was a day of rest for us. Paul James and Beth led a worship seminar in the afternoon, while the rest of the team stood behind to rest.

the Scripture "Be ready in season, and out of season" came alive yesterday, when i found out that i'm preaching tomorrow, instead of thursday. There was a slight change, so i will be speaking at 7 pm (1 pm south Florida time) to the youth. I'm so excited for this opportunity, because this is personal for me. Germany has become a burden in my heart, and i'm praying God will give me a word to challenge the youth to be relentless in their faith. They are hungry, but they need to get hungrier, and break with the tradition of the churches here. So if you read this before 1 pm on Monday, keep me in your prayers. I'll be bypassing a sightseeing tour in Colmar, France to stay home to prepare and spend some quiet time with the Lord. sometimes, it's very hard to get some time to talk God here, as our agenda is always full.

Again, for those who have been begging for pictures. I haven't been able to upload any. the Internet service in this house is slow, and it wouldn't allow me to upload the pictures. I'll try again tomorrow, but if it does not work. I'll upload the pictures when i come back.

I'll let you know how monday went

Mit Leben von Deutschland (with love from Germany)
